Cineplex. Not just for film lovers anymore.

The Canadian film biz is expanding to include theatre. Hallelujah and amen to that.  It's about time!
On specific dates you can view stage-to-screen productions straight from Russia's Bolshoi Ballet, New York's Metropolitan Opera and London's National Theatre.
I know what you're thinking: "But this isn't live theatre and filmed versions of stage productions are ghetto."
And you're right.  BUT, not totally.
Technology has worked it's wonders yet again, and the live-filmed productions use unique camera and lighting effects to enhance the viewing perspective. Really!
If you love theatre but won't be hitting up the Bolshoi any time soon,  it's worth checking out.
See below for upcoming screening dates and get tix at Cineplex's website: www.cineplex.com/events
